What Is ASSESS Used For?
ASSESS is designed and has been used for the evaluation of a variety of managerial, supervisory, and professional positions. For example:

ASSESS Measures Personality and Cognitive Abilities
The personality portion of the ASSESS test battery consists of 350 items drawn from a shortened and improved version of the Guilford Zimmerman Temperament Survey(GZTS), scales from the Dynamic Factors Opinion Survey(DFOS) and additional scales developed by AssessAdvantage. 28 personality dimensions are measured and aligned to 38 job competencies.
Intellectual Ability Testing
Seven well-known intellectual ability tests are available, dependant on the job position. results are embedded into the report. Standard tests include:
- Watson Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (short form)
- Raven’s Standard Progressive Matrices (revised short form)
- Thurstone Test of Mental Alertness
- RBH Arithmetic Reasoning Test
- Employee Aptitude Surveys 1,2, and 7
Using ASSESS for Selection
The test battery measures intellectual abilities and work-related personality characteristics. Reports can be linked to one of seven generic competency models. If you already have a model, we can align that into the system, or utilise our competency building workshop process to customise for any job position.
The new Hiring Managers Report includes a quick summary of potential strengths and weaknesses, interview suggestions for follow-up and a graphic profile.
